Welcome to Apartment No 9 which is situated on the second floor of Whitehall landing a new riverside development situated on a former shipyard on the east side of the historic town of Whitby. It is a ten minute walk from the extensive amenities of the town along a new riverside pathway.

The apartment can be accessed either by a modern lift or by stairs.
On entering the apartment you will find situated on your left hand side mounted on the wall an intercom system – this allows you to let people into the main building by lifting the handset speaking to identify the person and let them in by pressing the blue button located at the bottom of the handset apparatus.
On the right hand side of the hall is one of the electric storage heaters (full instructions are provided in the instruction file for electrical equipment).
The first door you will come to is situated on the right of the hall this is a large store room in which there is spare bedding, hoover, ironing board, iron, mop/bucket, travel cot, highchair and the hot water tank. A microwave is also located in here making more room for preparation in the kitchen. The light switch is situated on the right hand side of the wall in the store cupboard.
The first door on your left is access to the kitchen, dining and living area.
Open Plan Kitchen/Diner/Lounge
This open plan area offers a sociable atmosphere with wonderful views of the River Esk and down to the marina.
The kitchen and dining area are extremely well equipped. The kitchen boasts all today’s essentials for cooking including a dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, an electric hob and oven, front loading washing machine and plenty of high quality crockery and cutlery.
Four high backed chairs and a round glass dining table provide comfortable seating for those holiday meals
The lounge space offers 2 large very comfortable 2 seater bed settees, a glass coffee table, a colour HD freeview television, DVD player, ipod dock and various CDs, all this area can be enhanced by soft floor lighting and lamps making a relaxing atmosphere at any time of the year. (There is also Wi-Fi access)
The master bed room has a luxury 5ft bed, a generous wardrobe, bedside tables, dressing table and stool. With views out onto the river make this the perfect place to relax and unwind in.
The shower/ wet room comprises of a modern white suite with a large walk in shower all of which is finished to the same high standards as all Carr Mount Estate properties are.
The twin room does not disappoint offering comfort and quality.
With 2 3fttwin beds, plenty of storage with a built in wardrobe, dressing table and 2 bedside cabinets this room is ideal for 2 children or adults alike.
No 9 offers its own private parking space directly outside the apartment, making it easy to unload all those holiday cases.
